Emergency After Hours Response Service (EARS)

Emergencies don’t just happen during business hours

The Commonwealth and Victorian Governments fund annecto to provide an emergency After Hours telephone and field support service for people residing in Northern, Eastern and Western Metropolitan regions of Melbourne, and the Grampians.

If you are not currently receiving funding for support, and something comes up outside of normal business hours, you can give us a call.

EARS Metropolitan Melbourne (EARS Metro) - call 1800 72 72 80

EARS Metro provides non-medical emergency assistance, telephone support and carer dispatch for:

• older people
• people with a disability

Please note that EARS is not funded to operate within the Southern Metropolitan region of Melbourne, only for those people living in the Northern, Eastern and Western Metropolitan regions of Melbourne.

This service is funded by the Commonwealth through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and the Victorian Government.

EARS Grampians (for older people only) - call 1300 48 70 17

EARS Grampians provides non-medical emergency assistance, telephone support and carer dispatch for: 

• older people who live in the Grampians region of Victoria.

This service is funded by the Victorian Government's Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).

EARS is available every day of the year and on public holidays:

• between 5pm-9am on weekdays
• 24 hours a day on weekends and public holidays.
